Safe housing for LGBTQI asylum seekers in the West Midlands

Micro Rainbow has expanded its service provision of housing in the West Midlands. We now run three safe homes exclusively for LGBTQI asylum seekers and refugees in the area.

Micro Rainbow provides safe housing, social inclusion activities and moving on support to LGBTQI asylum seekers in the London area. In August 2018 we expanded our service provision and we are excited to also be providing safe housing to LGBTQI asylum seekers located in the West Midlands.

Micro Rainbow runs seven safe homes in the West Midlands and has 28 single rooms that are available exclusively for vulnerable LGBTQI asylum seekers.

In addition to providing temporary, safe accommodation, we also offer support to LGBTQI refugees to:

  • improve their employability
  • access Universal Credit
  • apply for National Insurance (NI) numbers.

If you are:

  • a lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or intersex (LGBTQI) asylum seeker or refugee and
  • homeless, in need of housing or moving on support and
  • based in the West Midlands

it is highly likely that we can support you, so contact us! To access support, you can call our helpline or meet us face to face.

If you prefer to meet in person, please check our social inclusion calendar.

Feel free to drop in or to contact us if you want to make an appointment in advance.
