Exploring the railway job market with Alstom

Join Micro Rainbow and Alstom in Derby for a railway-focused employability workshop.

The day will include a CV workshop, Mock Interviews, Presentation Skills and potentially some informal breakout groups on ‘lived experience’ topics, which may include.

• Adjusting to work in the UK
• Being out at work
• Finding community
• Adjusting to work as a speaker of English as an additional language
• The Equality Act/ Your rights in the workplace
• Finding support and wellbeing in the workplace

The session will be railway specific and talk about what kind of jobs are available and what transferable skills are helpful etc.

As usual we will provide a return ticket for those joining from outside of Derby on a first come basis. We encourage beneficiaries located in West and East Midlands to participate. Lunch will be provided. The menu has Halal and non Halal food and take aways. The deadline for registration is the 22nd of March.
