Ready to let your imagination run wild? Join this session with Lettie Precious, a British playwright, poet, author and artist, who will be facilitating a creative writing workshop for Micro Rainbow.

Facilitator (Lettie’s) Bio: (they/them): Lettie is a British playwright, poet, author and artist from Sheffield currently living in London. In 2021, their 4 part audio adaptation of ORLANDO was released on Audible, their TV episode OH TONI for The Break was released on BBC3, and their audio piece REFLECTION for The Verb was released on BBC Radio 4. In 2021 they also curated and contributed to the Royal Court’s Living Newspaper programme and their short play co-written with Jack Thorne premieres with Birmingham Rep later this year. In 2020 they had pieces produced as part of the Royal Court’s MY WHITE BEST FRIEND online series, Theatre Royal Stratford East’s audio project 8.46, Theatre503 & Theatre Centre’s ImagiNation audio-visual project, and Jermyn Street Theatre’s 15 HEROINES. They won the 2019/2020 Royal Court and Kudos Fellowship and recently completed the 2019/2020 BBC Writers’ Room. Their first full length play, THIS IS US, is in development with Graeae and had a rehearsed reading at the Bush Theatre in 2019, in association with Talawa and Tamasha theatre companies. Also in 2019, their play THE GREY AREA was presented as part of the Royal Court Theatre’s QUEER UPSTAIRS festival. In 2018 they completed BBC London Voices Writers’ Room and the Graeae Write To Play year-long attachment, and became a published author.
